Rust/Navy garment phase-out - In May 2006, the Division Board of Directors approved a mandatory rust/navy garment phase out date of 1 July 2009.  That date has since come and gone.

Effective 1 July 2009, no more Rust/Navy garments are allowed to be worn at all future NSPS events within the European Division.  Patrollers must obtain an outer garment (jacket, parka or vest) that meets the Division policy.

When in doubt, refer to the Division P&P.  All members are tasked with compliance.  The Line Staff (PDs and Region Directors) is tasked with policy enforcement/oversight.  The Division Director is THE final authority for uniform questions and conflict resolution.

Any "old schoolers" wishing to find your "rusty" a new home, you can advertise it on the NSP website in the Member's Forum.  Do a forum search on "The Rusty Exchange".
